EXPERTISE
We firmly believe that companies motivated by a greater societal purpose will be stronger, more successful businesses for the long term.

When it comes to promoting good relations between the US and the Caribbean, there’s nothing like having an expert knowledge of both places and cultures. I was raised in Kingston and moved with my family to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager. I have lived, studied and made my career in the U.S.; but my links with the Caribbean are a core part of my professional life.
As a result, I am an effective resource and advocate for investors looking at the Caribbean. I believe strongly in the power of US-Caribbean partnership and the economic, social and cultural opportunities it can bring.
Education and Development
Educational access, particularly in higher education, job readiness and economic development are ongoing impediments to achieving regional economic goals and delivering on the promise of prosperity. Our strategy is one of developing public private partnerships, engaging stakeholders in solutions by focusing on mutual goals and objectives, and identifying the pragmatic intersection of societal and business value propositions. Why? Because we believe that doing good is good for business.
– His Excellency The Most Hon. Sir Patrick Allen, Governer General of Jamaica.
Diaspora and Diplomacy
Diasporas are among the most underleveraged resource for many countries. Unfortunately, nationals who live abroad are often viewed in their homeland as ‘brain drain’, and ‘cash cows’, at least this is the feeling among many diasporans. In more recent times, however, the billions of U.S. dollars in remittances have highlighted this group of skilled, experienced people with strong affinities to their countries, and nations are waking up to the potency of their diaspora in more productive terms as drivers of economic development, potential investors, employers, and sources of expertise. With decades of experience on multiple diaspora fronts, including as a diplomat representing Jamaican nationals in the U.S., Dr. Brown Metzger is an effective diaspora strategist and understands how to navigate the sometimes challenging relationship between a government and its diaspora.
“I first came across the unsinkable Geneive when she was Consul General Jamaica in New York and we both participated in the US State Department Global Diaspora Forum. She’s a force of nature and I learnt so much from her.”

Risk and Country Analysis
Emerging markets offer potential for competitive returns across a variety of industries, as well as diversifiers for investors. My associates and I represent decades of experience in market research and analysis, foreign trade consulting; and we bring boots-on-ground know-how and access in the Caribbean. I’ve led U.S. business forums, including with Bloomberg, on behalf of Jamaica to promote foreign direct investment. Ultimately, we help our clients understand and navigate Caribbean markets, bringing also to the table, cultural awareness and sensibilities without which a deal can die on the vine.
“Dr. Brown Metzger previously served as the Consul General for Jamaica in New York… in a manner that demonstrated her skills as an organizer, manager, and connector. Jamaica continues to benefit from her resourcefulness….”
– Hon. Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica
