Penn Relays
Geneive Brown Metzger served on the Penn Relay’s Committee from 2010 to 2022, and was Honorary Referee in 2011.
The Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since April 21, 1895 by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. Olympians like Usain Bolt, Jesse Owens, Herb McKinley, and Roger Bannister competed at the Penn Relays. The 3-day meet which occurs in April every year, attracts over 100,000 spectators and athletes from around the world.
